**Sonographer (MFM/Perinatal) - Brooklyn, NY**

**Job duties include, but are not limited to**:

- **Execute all varieties of obstetrical and gynecologic diagnostic ultrasound exams.**
- **Explain testing procedures to patients.**
- **Obtain and document appropriate medical history and pertinent information.**
- **Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines**
- **Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.**
- **Utilize the PACS system to make images available to the interpreting physician and create preliminary written reports.**
- **Ensure that emergent exam results are verbally relayed promptly to the appropriate physician.**
- **Evaluate sonograms in order to acquire appropriate diagnostic information.**
- **Communicate efficiently with on-site physicians/staff in a professional manner.**
- **Have a thorough knowledge of OB/GYN conditions, including appropriate timeframes needed to schedule follow up scans and related tests.**
- **Assist in the care and maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and supplies.**

**Requirements**:

- **Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)**
- **Direct OB/GYN experience is highly desirable**
- **Certified with the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review (NTQR) preferred.**

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
