Dental Treatment Coordinator

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- schedule patient appointments
- Must be comfortable being chair side / helping cover front desk if necessary
- confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
- check daily appointment schedule
- collect and receipt payments from patients at time of treatment
- arrange payment schedule with patients
- send insurance claims
- Utilization of our practice management software to generate information necessary for billing purposes for any patient with an outstanding balance.
- Manage all EOB’s (post, review & follow up), correspondence and claims to and from insurance companies. File appeals as necessary to receive proper payment
- Call any patients with an outstanding balance, explain the balance and keep an open line of communication and a sense of trust to patients and collect that balance
- Electronic claim submittal and maintenance
- Be familiar and comfortable setting a patient up with third-party financing options (CareCredit, etc.).
- Previous dental assisting experience is a plus Have the ability to assist the dentist when necessary
- Office has a day off during the week (Friday)
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical setting preferred
- Proficiency in using dental office software such as Open Dental
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
