Starting pay rate is $20.62 with a pay increase at 6 months and 1 year of employment. Excellent benefits package to include health, dental, and vision insurance, company participating pension plan, as well as company paid short term disability and life insurance.

Previous bus operating or commercial driving experience is not required, however prior to the job offer, it is the applicant's responsibility to obtain the Commercial CDL Learner's Permit and DOT (Department of Transportation) Physical. Once obtained, Transpo will provide a four (4) week paid training program consisting of both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction.

_(NOT ALL-INCLUSIVE)_
- Responsible for thorough cleaning of the interior of vehicles
- Empty fare box vaults
- Fuel all Transpo vehicles and record fuel usage
- Check fluid levels of all Transpo vehicles, including oil, window washer fluid, etc.
- Park vehicles in bus barn or transfer to garage for maintenance
- Provide bus changes as needed
- Building and grounds maintenance including shoveling, driving truck with snow plow, distributing salt, lawn mowing and fertilization

**QUALIFICATIONS** _(NOT ALL-INCLUSIVE)_
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to operate snow plow and forklift, change LP tanks, regularly lift without assistance up to 50 pounds with the need to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds without assistance.
- Must submit to drug testing and criminal background check.
