**Your Specific Responsibilities**:

This is a highly independent and responsible public health position charged with facility and asset management.

Coordinates and assists with agency inventory management.
- Manages the Asset Management System for FDOH-SJC.
- Assists and supports with agency storage areas (i.e., warehouse, secured access areas, off-site storage, etc.).
- Facilitates and/or completes physical inventory activities. This includes but is not limited to: keeping up to date records of assets, working with departments within FDOH-SJC on inventory management, and following DOHP 250-11-20.
- Works with St Johns County for management of property and assets.
- Assesses resources and/or property in need of repair, surplus, or disposition and completes necessary actions.
- Ensures proper documentation and labelling of agency/county inventory.
- Provides support and assistance to any FDOH-SJC property custodians.

Serves as the local facilities management designee.
- Coordinates, assists, and supervises the maintenance, renovations, and emergency repairs conducted by non-FDOH entities.
- Coordinates, assists, completes, and/or manages any maintenance, repairs, installation, and other facility related tasks for FDOH-SJC.
- Provides logístical support for any FDOH-SJC related services or events.

Manages, coordinates, and oversees FDOH-SJC fleet and physical security.
- Serves as local Fleet Coordinator per DOHP 250-12-18 and ensures policy is followed by FDOH-SJC.
- Provides assistance and education, as needed, to staff for fleet use.
- Reviews, monitors, and researches any fleet or facility needs and provides information to management that supports FDOH-SJC operations.
- Manages physical security per DOHP 50-10-23.
- Coordinates and works with St Johns County facilities staff regarding facility safety, access, and security.
- Coordinates and assists with any travel or travel related needs/requests, as needed, to/from FDOH-SJC related activities.
- Ensures operational integrity for the Public Health Mobile Center, when appropriate, by completing routine maintenance, necessary documentation, and required logs.

Serves as the local Safety Coordinator per DOHP 250-16-18.
- Assists with maintaining and testing local emergency communication devices (i.e. 800 MHz Radios, Satellite Phones, etc.) in coordination with the local Public Health Planner and provides training as needed.
- Reviews and updates FDOH-SJC safety policy/policies.
- Establishes and manages FDOH-SJC Safety Committee per DOHP 250-16-18.

Assigned Purchasing Card responsibilities. Use of Purchasing Card must be in accordance with DOHP 56-44-22 and IOP 250-9-16.

Ensures the integrity/confidentiality of all data sets in FDOH-SJC. Complies with the DOHP 50-10-23. Maintains the security and privacy of confidential information and disclosure thereof that is exempt from public record.

Performs other duties as assigned.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance.

Skill in determining what is causing an operating error and deciding what to do about it.

Ability to effectively communicate with others.

Ability to operate motor vehicles and perform routine vehicle/equipment maintenance.

Ability to document and maintain logs and records.

Ability to safely move and lift supplies/equipment in excess 65lbs.

Ability to compile, code, categorize, calculate, audit or process detailed information.

Ability to plan and organize.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum.
- A bachelor's degree from a college or university and two years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.

- Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

**Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
