**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator plays a crucial role in our billing process by managing the intake of new orders and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Dispatching deliveries to drivers and coordinating appointments.
- Handling medical record requests and responses.
- Receive and review incoming orders for DME equipment.
- Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to obtain necessary documentation and verify information.
- Enter patient and order information into our billing system accurately and efficiently.
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for DME equipment.
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve any issues or discrepancies in the intake process.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files of all documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Prior experience in medical billing, DME billing, or healthcare administration preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with billing software is desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
