Safety Manager

As a Safety Manager, you will implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and the community. You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. This role requires a solid commitment to safety standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
- CTSP Certification required
- Six (6)+ years' experience in the construction and/or logging industry with increasing management responsibility
- CHST Certification preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards with regard to construction
- Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
- Proven experience as safety manager
- Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
- Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees within the workplace environment. You will develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and mitigate risks. Additionally, you will conduct regular inspections, audits, and assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Collaborating with management and employees, you will provide training and education on safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.
