**Job Summary**:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for persons with diabilities to learn, grow, and have memorable experiences. This is a paid position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and engage with campers during various activities and outings
- Plan and lead devlopmentaly-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Assist with meal times, including monitoring dietary restrictions and allergies
- Collaborate with other counselors to create a positive and inclusive camp environment
- Assist campers with daily self help skills such as brushing teeth, dressing, showering
**Experience**:
- Previous experience working with persons with special needs in any setting is prefered
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of campers
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with campers, parents, and fellow staff members
- Participating in a collaborative environment such as sports, clubs, or volunteer activities
**Requirements**:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Live in our cabins on camp
- Ability to pass a background check
