The Associate Project Manager for SAP Ariba PMO, NA Consulting will report to the VP PMO, SAP Ariba PMO, NA Consulting.

The Ariba Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting an Ariba Project Manager in managing and delivering strategic and complex SAP Procurement programs which may combine one or more upstream and/or downstream SAP Ariba product solutions or may include Fieldglass and are typically large in scale, high-risk, and span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners/vendors. The Ariba Associate Project Manager will provide support the Project Manager in driving effective project oversight and project reviews to drive project success and will reinforce the SAP Ariba knowledge management through the communication of lessons learned and project management best practices development. The person has strong business acumen, strong understanding of the SaaS software deployment lifecycle, demonstrated leadership, and personal skills for successful delivery of SAP ISM solutions.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks
- Support one or multiple projects or initiatives throughout various stages of the project life cycle.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing integrated project management plan in conjunction with project sponsor/customer and report on deliverables, outputs, and progress against this plan.
- Contribute to developing project plans, managing project risk, schedule, and budget.
- Help drive customer communication plan and overall go-live communication.
- Manage project financials, forecast, budget to actuals and associated process and documentation.
- Maintain project documentation current.
- Support project manager in preparation of meetings and meetings summarizing meeting notes.

Professional Experience
- 1-2 years of project management experience.
- Ability to work on multiple workstreams concurrently and prioritize.
- Ability to support in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as, project charter, project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan, budget and schedule, within the SAP Activate methodology.
- Demonstrated experience supporting projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.
- Basic understanding of SaaS software deployments and cloud transformation is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written English
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Certified Scrum Master a plus
- CAPM certification a plus
- Travel (20%)
