Financial Model Specialist Renewable Energy

**Responsibilities**:
- Integrated in the group team in USA and in close collaboration with headquarter in Europe:
- Preparing and updating complex financial models for generation and storage energy projects.
- Build / modify financial models and conduct economic analysis for portfolios of under construction projects, greenfield development projects.
- Uses computer programs to produce detailed and complex reports, spreadsheets and presentations, types and proofreads documents, correspondence, and forms.
- Support the group in the financing of different energy projects within USA and Canada.
- Economical evaluation of new developments and acquisitions of the group.
- Monitoring of the economical performance of the company projects.
- Evaluation of the economical effects in the company projects of the variation of different inputs and hypothesis.
- Energy and financial market analysis and monitoring.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics or similar.
- Experience in financial modeling (5 years minimum).
- Experience in renewable energy sector and familiar with Tax Equity structure, tax credits (ITC, PTC).
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs with high proficiency in Excel.
- Previous experience in project finance, specially within the energy sector will be highly considered.
- Must display strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate oral and written communication skills; communicate effectively with various contacts (internal and external).
- Must exhibit professionalism and excellent interactive skills.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and capable of working independently.
- Spanish knowledge not required, but will be a plus.
- Understanding of loan structures, tax-equity structures and partnership tax principles are a major plus.
- Exposure to valuation concepts, DCF, NPV, IRR, cost of capital, to assist in making investment decisions.
