Charge Nurse

**Duties**:

- Provide direct patient care and manage nursing staff in a healthcare setting
- Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect specimens for laboratory testing as needed
- Assist with airway management and emergency response situations
- Ensure proper catheter care and infection control practices are followed
- Manage pain medication administration and pain management protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

**Skills**:

- Valid nursing license and relevant certifications
- Strong clinical skills with experience in a nursing home or long term care
- Proficient in airway management techniques and emergency response protocols
- Knowledge of catheter care procedures and infection control practices
- Familiarity with pain management strategies and medication administration
- Competency in performing phlebotomy procedures and collecting specimens
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
