DESCRIPTION:
Position is responsible for performing accurate and timely measurements of vital signs for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Vital Signs Monitoring: Perform accurate and timely measurements of vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, height, weight, and respiratory rate.

Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, recognizing and reporting any deviations from the norm to the healthcare team.

Health Education: Educate patients on various health topics including preventive care and lifestyle modifications to improve overall health outcomes.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and precise documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and education provided in accordance with HIPAA regulations, as well as regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.

Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings and Immunization clinics.

Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records of patient assessments, interventions, and education provided.

Compliance: Maintain all HIPAA standards.

Continuing Education: Participate in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary to stay current with best practices in nursing.

Health Literacy Promotion: Develop and implement strategies to enhance health literacy among patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Note: Minimum one year of clinical experience involving medication management may be required for these responsibilities.

Other Duties: Perform other related duties as necessary.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Qualifications:
For LPN: Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
For RN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
Current LPN or RN license in Virginia.
Proficiency in vital signs assessment and documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to promoting health literacy and patient education.

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
