**THIS POSTING IS FOR 2 VACANCIES**

Under general supervision, provides social counseling, support, care coordination, and educational activities in the home to families who are involved with Parents As Teachers. Focus to be on healthy pregnancies, parent-child interaction and development-centered parenting and family well-being through age 5.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, Early Childhood Education, or Nursing with one (1) year of work experience in a related field. A valid driver’s license is required.

**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:
Must successfully complete required National PAT Training and obtain and maintain Parent Educator Certificate.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
Home visitation experience preferred. Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish are preferred.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
Work requires working with high risk, confrontational, mentally and physically ill, and economically disadvantaged populations with exposure to infectious diseases. Work may involve working after regular business hours in high crime areas. Extensive home visiting is required. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis.
