Shipper/packer

Overview:
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

- Pick/Pack & Ship customer orders via “best way” and most economical method
- Accurately complete appropriate shipping documents
- Determine method of shipment through best carriers and/or rates
- Process freight claims regarding any damages
- Ship return orders and warranty items to vendors in a timely manner
- Make note of inventory substitutions on sales orders for adjustments
- Pick “Will Call” orders/counter sales
- Maintain inventory for packing and shipping supplies and order as needed
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures including safety regulations
- Ensures proper use of equipment in accordance with safety regulations and provide training as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of shipping and warehouse areas to include storing materials in appropriate locations

**NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain a working knowledge of inventory activity
- Assist with Cycle Counting
- Requisition/notify purchasing of stock shortages

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
