**Daycare Handler**

As a daycare employee your responsibilities include supervising a room full of daycare dogs, this could be anywhere from 10-40 on a given day. You will be supervising safe and organized off leash play time in either our large dog area or our small dog area. This position is for someone who is dedicated to working with dogs and able to handle the responsibility of watching over the group and making sure all dogs are playing properly and being taken care of throughout the day. Your goal for the day is to provide a safe environment for the dogs where they can socialize, exercise and have fun

Qualifications & Daily Responsibilities:

- HAS EXPERIENCE HANDLING DOGS AT A PREVIOUS FACILITY
- 18 years of age or older
- Kind, energetic and respectful animal lover
- Positive attitude towards dogs and customers
- Able to be on time and ready for the responsibilities of each shift
- Able to communicate with team members through ear piece or walkie talkie as well as any written communication that is needed
- Able to handle a big group of dogs (both small and large) and manage off leash play in daycare and indoor dog park area
- Willing to clean up dog pee and poop and clean up daycare rooms as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Work setting:

- In-person
