**Duties**:

- You will assist in the formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities; review and evaluate budget request, control and report of obligations and expenditures.
- You will perform studies or assist others with full scale studies.
- You will provide information about and interpret standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices and regulations.
- You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepares summaries for use by managers.
- You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connecting with accounting systems, analytical, forecasting and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds.
- You will perform a variety of fiscal, accounting or financial management duties and responsibilities.

**Qualifications**:

- For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in formulation of budget and estimates; 2) Performing financial studies; 3) Researching guides to locate accounting and financial information.
- For GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in formulation of budget and estimates; 2) Performing financial studies; 3) Researching guides to locate accounting and financial information.

- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). **Education**:
Applicants that do not meet the specialized experience as described above may qualify with the following education:
**GS-09**:Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR
Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree. OR
Obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled. OR
Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
