**Position Description**:
Typical task breakdown:

- Document and maintain a style guide for the Power BI hub to ensure ongoing consistency.
- Troubleshoot user issues with the Power BI platform and address data visualization inquiries.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions with the team on Power BI best practices and standardization techniques.
- Collaborate with Python team to integrate analysis results while maintaining data visualization standards.
- Conduct user interviews or surveys to gather feedback on existing visualizations and identify gaps in the hub.
- Deep dive into standardizing visualizations:

-  Ensure consistency in design elements (colors, fonts, layouts).
-  Apply best practices for user experience and data clarity.
-  Refine existing visualizations for seamless integration within the hub.
- Develop new reports and dashboards following standardized templates.
- Review data requests from stakeholders and identify relevant existing visualizations from both your team and other business units.
**Interaction with team: **:

-  Frequent interaction with the Reman Analytics team for data integration and collaboration.
- Regular communication with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide updates on the Power BI hub.

- **Education & Experience Required: **:

-  3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
- Current position is App Designer 2- can adjust this to App Designer 1 then lower this to 0-2 years if needed (ie.. different req)
- Bachelor''s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
(Desired)
- Microsoft Power BI certification preferred.

**Technical Skills **:

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI:

- Experience with data modeling, DAX calculations, and query editor.
- Ability to create complex and interactive visualizations (charts, graphs,    maps, etc.).
- Knowledge of Power BI best practices for performance optimization and user experience.
- Working knowledge of Python: Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and analysis is a plus, especially for collaborating with the Reman Analytics team.
- Familiarity with data governance principles: Understanding data access controls and security protocols is important for managing the centralized Power BI hub
- Experience with SQL along with how to create, manipulate and execute, plus if experience with snowflake
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills: Effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork: Ability to work effectively with the Reman Analytics team, business stakeholders from various departments, and other data enthusiasts across the division.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills: Identify data visualization gaps, troubleshoot user issues, and find creative solutions to improve the Power BI hub.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design: Ensure consistency, clarity, and visual appeal in all standardized reports and dashboards.
- Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Passion for data visualization and a desire to learn: Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI trends and best practices to continuously improve the hub.

**Disqualifiers/Red Flags**:

- Limited experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Difficulty collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Poor communication and presentation skills.
