**Requirements for the Residence Counselor**:

- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid NYS Driver’s License is required for most positions.
- CASAC preferred, but not required
- Successful clearance by the Justice Center and New York State Office of Children and Family Services Statewide Central Register Database Check is also required.

**Responsibilities for the Residence Counselor include**:

- Establish and maintain good rapport and therapeutic relationship with residents.
- Aid and encourage residents to meet the established goals of their service plans.
- Encourage resident decision-making.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.40 per hour
