**Summary**
Responsible for correctly performing technical procedures and Quality Control in the Clinical Lab; operating and maintaining instrumentation and taking steps necessary to assure accurate reports; phlebotomy and clerical tasks as needed; performing tasks as needed. The supervisor has direct responsibility for the maintenance of the department’s records including QC, calibration, maintenance, proficiency testing, calibration, inventory, training, competency evaluation, and procedures. Records will be kept current and organized in a manner specified by the laboratory director.
**Qualifications**
Licensed by the State of California Dept. of Health Services
ASCP Registry recommended
5 years as medical technologist or clinical laboratory scientist in an acute care facility
5 years laboratory supervisory experience preferred
Pay range: $51.18 Minimum - $81.91 Maximum an hour
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
