**Allied Universal is hiring an experienced individual to serve as a Security Console Operator in the firm's Security Command Center located in a new and state of the art high rise building located at Hudson Yards.**
- Position Is: Full Time
- Work Days Available: Thursday - Sunday
- Work Shifts Available: Overnight (11PM - 7AM)
- Pay Rate: $28.90 / hour

**Requirement's**:

- 2-year degree required; 4-year college degree preferred.
- Active New York State security license required.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and unplanned emergencies as required.
- **Experience with Access Control Systems, Closed Circuit Television Systems & Microsoft Products.**

**Additional Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with Dataminr & NYPD Shield
- Report Writing & Intelligence gathering
- Genetech & CCure 9000 experience

**Responsibilities**
- Staffs the 24/7 command center, answering routine security assistance calls from firm employees ensuring the safety and security of the building.
- Monitors, responds to, and investigates all alarms received on the security console.
- Receives reports, analyzes data, and understands the impact on the firm's staff, facilities, and reputation.
- Research and monitor intelligence reporting streams and communicates threats and events to correct entities to action.
- Authors communications to NYC firm staff in the event of emergencies.
- Dispatches and directs on premise guards to emergencies within building.
- Writes, reviews, and publishes incident reports. Assists in conducting investigations to aid in the completion of reporting.
- Researches and creates concept of operation plans for VIP travel, monitors delays and world events impacting firm travel.
- Compiles travel advice, country risk ratings and documentation to brief travelers ahead of visits to high-risk destinations.
- Preforms virtual patrols and conducts investigations utilizing CCTV and physical guards to ensure integrity of premises and property.
- Utilizes CCTV platforms to record, categorize and interpret video that can be used in investigations and after-action reporting.
- Works in conjunction with our London and India command centers during fail over scenarios.

**Skills**
- Prior command center operator experience in the military, private sector or law enforcement required.
- Ability to nurture effective professional relationships with staff and client.
- Impeccable written and oral communication is required along with advanced computer literacy.
- Expert proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
- Working knowledge of electronic security, communication systems and CCTV systems.
- Ability to maintain a detailed and professionally written incident management document, as well as daily activity logs.
- Working knowledge of fire and life safety programs to include Emergency Action Plans.

**Additional Requirements**
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
