Laundromat Operational & Service Technician - West Michigan

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a

**Responsibilities**:
1. Equipment Maintenance and Repair:

- Perform routine maintenance on laundry equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Follow a preventative maintenance schedule across all locations to keep all facilities up to date on PM.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with washers, dryers, and other laundry machinery.
- Coordinate and oversee equipment repairs, collaborating with external service providers when necessary.

2. Facility Management:

- Conduct regular inspections of laundromat locations to identify maintenance needs.
- Address facility-related issues promptly.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and employees.

3. Inventory Management:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels for replacement parts and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials.

4. Staff Training and Support:

- Provide training to laundromat staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance tasks.
- Support on-site staff in addressing technical issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate channels.

5. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure all laundromat locations comply with relevant safety regulations.
- Stay informed about industry standards and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with management to develop and maintain safety protocols.

Qualifications:
1. Technical Expertise:

- Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of commercial laundry equipment.
- Familiarity with a variety of laundry machinery brands and models.

2. Organizational Skills:

- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple locations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

3. Communication Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff.

4. Problem-Solving:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues.

5. Team Player:

- Ability to work collaboratively with laundromat staff, management, and external service providers.

6. Flexibility:

- Willingness to work non-traditional hours when necessary.
- Availability for emergency response.

Education and Experience:

- Technical certification in equipment maintenance or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the laundromat or commercial laundry industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.22 - $27.15 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
