**YOUR ROLE AS OUR SHELTER AND KENNEL MANAGER**:
Your schedule will be structured from Monday to Friday, with weekend availability and occasional holidays.

As our esteemed Shelter and Kennel Manager, your everyday mission will encompass a range of impactful responsibilities. You will provide unwavering care to our boarders, shelter pets, and occasionally pets in need of specialized medical attention. From marketing shelter animals and coordinating adoption readiness to ensuring their nutritional needs are met, administering medication, and maintaining cleanliness, your dedication will enhance the lives of our beloved companions. As an influential leader, you will also oversee group playtimes, monitor the well-being of dogs, cats, and other companions, and actively participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new assistants. Your commitment to maintaining a clean and disease-free environment will be integral, as will your ability to provide gentle, compassionate, and Fear Free care.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 3+ years of supervisory and leadership experience in animal care
- 5+ years of kennel work experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the hospital medical team and follow established protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses a genuine passion for animal welfare and a desire to provide the best care possible
