**Description**:
The Collector is responsible for notifying hospital patients or third party insurance carriers of delinquent accounts. The collector attempts to secure payment by means of personal contact, telephone, mail, or collection agencies. The Collector assists in quoting prices for surgery and other procedures.

Educational Requirements:

- High School Diploma

Experience Requirements:

- Thorough knowledge of Fair Credit Act.
- Two years experience in collections or related field.
- Training in hospital or medical office setting preferred.

Special Requirements:

- 10 key touch
- Experience with PC
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to provide service to customer in a professional and courteous manner.
