Gifted Teacher

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Teaching gifted students in a pull-out program at one to two schools
- Teach pull-out classes at each school, twice a week, during rotating special time
- Responsible for working with teachers on DEPs
- Work with homeroom teachers to meet the needs of the gifted students, both socially and academically
- Coordinate gifted testing three times a year
- Complete progress reports each semester for gifted students
- Enter students in academic contests such as Geography Bee, Science Olympiad, Rubric Cubes, Science Fairs, etc.
- Follow designated curriculum
- Responsible for performing duties as assigned at schools where you work
- Work with as a team with other gifted teachers and team lead

American Leadership Academy offers a competitive salary that is individually determined based on education and experience.
- Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint card
- Copy of current teaching certificate
- Current resume
- Letters of recommendation (2-3)
- Additional applicable endorsements

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
