Automotive Helper

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Support mechanics and service technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Assist with automotive diagnostics and repairs under supervision
- Aid in aligning vehicles and performing basic maintenance tasks
- Help with the use of hand tools, power tools, as needed
- Assist in powertrain and transmission-related tasks
- Help maintain shop cleanliness and order
- Provide rides to customers in the company shuttle vehicle
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

- Prior experience or interest in automotive diagnostics, mechanics, or related fields
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of using hand tools and power tools
- Own tools or willing to invest in tools reasonably
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Basic understanding of computers and typing to complete DVIs and use shop software
- Willingness to become MSI certified
