**KIPP Chicago has new allocations for Paraprofessionals for the 23-24 school year. Our hiring process for Paraprofessional positions will be expedited and will include**:

**Expectations specific to the Paraprofessional role are**:
- Working individually with students to ensure the requirements of their IEPs are met
- Collaborating with Special Education teachers to ensure the requirements of students’ IEPs are met
- Collaborating with general education teachers to ensure the requirements of students’ IEPs are met
- Maintain prompt and consistent attendance to work and assigned responsibilities during daily school hours, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.**Qualifications**:
- Associate’s degree OR 60 hours college coursework completed OR score of 460 or higher on the ParaPro test OR passing scores on three sections of the WorkKeys test (required)
- Illinois Paraprofessional license or Substitute (required)
- Experience with students with diverse needs (preferred)
- Experience with low-income, urban students (preferred)
- Cleared CPS Background check (required)
- Documentation of full Covid-19 vaccination by 10/15/2021, unless approved medical or religious exemption (required)**Additional Information**:
