**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term position in a detail-oriented environment. Our office is not very busy, allowing us to focus on providing exceptional care and attention to each patient.
Language: English, Spanish (required)
Hours: Flexible to part time or full time (9-6)
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Manage patient records and ensure they are up to date.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed.
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing and inventory management.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 36 per week
**Benefits**:
- Paid sick time

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Experience**:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- X-Ray Certification (preferred)
