Knead Bagels is looking to add a full time baker to our team. We are a scratch kitchen and bagel bakery that uses classic New York style production techniques. This person will be involved in all aspects of the baking process including boiling and baking bagels, dough production, inventory, equipment maintenance, and other general prep work in the restaurant. Must have a great sense of timing and the ability to multi task while thinking 3-5 moves ahead. The ideal person will take direction well, work neatly and efficiently, and be reliable and punctual. Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, sometimes arriving as early as 5am. Must take direction and constructive criticism well, and be able to lift 50lb bags of flour comfortably. Ideally we want someone with kettle bagel experience but are more than willing to train the right person who has a great attitude and at least 2 years experience in one or more of the following areas: bread, pizza, and/ or high volume line cooking.
