Restaurant Team Member

We're Bangbop, a fast casual Korean restaurant hiring team members in Brookland Northeast DC.

We want all of our employees to feel like they can complete any role with confidence: duties include food preparation, packaging, organization, and cleaning. We will train you to learn all and develop your skills in each station.

Starting wage: $17 per hour

**Duties and Requirements**
- Available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week, including weekends
- Flexible schedule
- Willingness to learn and good attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency
- Participate in a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Communicate with other teammates
- Show up to work on time and take pride in your work

**Other Requirements**
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to handle knives and other potentially dangerous kitchen utensils
- Proficiency in the English language (must be able to hold a conversation); knowledge of Spanish is a bonus

**Not required but preferred**:

- Prior restaurant experience
- Food preparation experience

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week, but primarily on the weekends. Compensation is $17.00 - $19.00/hour.

This job is:

- Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
- A “Fair Chance” job (you or the employer follow Fair Chance hiring practices when performing background checks)
- A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education
- Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 25 per week
