Preschool Center Director

**Summary**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to hire as the Preschool Director. The Center Director will play a pivotal role in the overall management and success of our institution, overseeing various aspects of operations, staff management, and community engagement. This is a full-time contracted position, from the end of August ? June each year. Summer hours are also required as needed and are paid outside of the contracted salary.

**Duties**
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and maintain necessary certifications
- Be a lead teacher in a preschool classroom 5 mornings a week and work 5 afternoons in the office to perform Director administrative duties
- Collaborate with Executive Board, Business Manager, and staff on policies and procedures
- Mentor and support teaching staff in curriculum development and professional growth
- Conduct teacher observations and evaluations in accordance with our Policies and Procedures handbook
- Interview prospective employees in conjunction with the Executive Board and Business Manager
- Communicate regularly with families and update school website and social media platforms
- Attend all staff meetings, Executive Board meetings, and community events as required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (Master?s degree preferred)
- Meet all State of New Hampshire Bureau of Childcare Licensing requirements for a Center Director
- Knowledge of NH state licensing regulations and procedures
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in curriculum planning and development
- Ability to work collaboratively with our Executive Board, Business Manager and Teaching Staff
- Computer literate, with proficiency and working knowledge of Google Docs
- First Aid and CPR certification required

**Nice To Haves**

Two years experience working in a Preschool setting.
