**SCOPE OF POSITION**: Reporting directly to the Bakery Department Manager, performs cake decorating functions in an efficient and timely manner.

**BASIC FUNCTION**:Performs day-to-day and special occasion cake decorating as required. May wait on and work with customers and perform Bakery Associate job functions when necessary.

**Position Specific Requirements**:

- Previous experience decorating bakery items.
- Able to perform Bakery operations, practices and procedures within a retail grocery-bakery environment.
- Be self-directed, results oriented, project a positive business image and lead by example.
- Good attention to detail and follow through skills.
- Good customer relations skills.
- Be able to meet department productivity, policy, standard operating procedures, quality and safety requirements.
- Operate department equipment in a safe and efficient manner. (Must be 18 years of age to operate certain department equipment.)
- Work hours required. This includes flexible shift schedules, overtime and weekends required.

9. Work in physical environment with continuous exposure to cooler, water and meet physical demands.

**EQUIPMENT/TOOLS OPERATED**: Proficient skill in operation of standard department equipment, which includes mixers, scales, fryers, knives, ovens, proofers, frosters, glazers, photo cake machine, airbrush and sanitizing equipment.
