**Position Title**: Helpdesk Associate

**Reports To**: Helpdesk Supervisor

**Department**: Information Technology

**Location**: Westwood

**Your Role**:
The Helpdesk Associate will play a pivotal role in our IT team by ensuring the seamless replacement and installation of new computers. You will be responsible for efficiently managing the PC replacement project, ensuring mínimal disruption to end-users while providing excellent customer service. Additionally, this role will involve participation in various other IT projects beyond PC replacements. The position requires a team player who will be expected to be organized, motivated, and demonstrate a professional attitude. They will have a basic understanding of Windows-based computers and troubleshooting methodologies.

**What Will You Do?**
- Receive, handle, remove, decommission, and track all helpdesk inventory.
- Image, configure, deploy, and relocate corporate desktops, laptops, peripherals.
- Troubleshoot basic issues related to Windows-based computers and escalate complex issues.
- Provide user support and training as needed during the PC deployment process.
- Perform repairs to hardware and peripheral equipment, processing warranties with vendors.
- Perform cable management.
- Triage issues reported in our ticketing system (Solarwinds Service Desk).
- Ensure vendor contracts and agreements are up-to-date and compliant.
- Take detailed meeting notes, track deliverables, and project status.
- Assist in updating general documentation and user guides.
- Coordinate procurement and replacement of hardware and software as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and the helpdesk for user onboarding and offboarding.
- This role may require occasional evening or weekend work to address IT emergencies or system maintenance.

**What Do you Need to Succeed**:

- Working knowledge (i.e: administration) of Microsoft Windows workstations.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware and how to configure them in Windows.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.

- Strong sense of urgency and time management skills.
