**Position Overview**:
The Outside Expeditor (Expo) plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of food from the kitchen to the guests. This position acts as a communication bridge between the kitchen staff and the serving team, ensuring that in hours orders and take out orders are correct, complete, and presented beautifully before reaching the customer. The Outside Expo must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and consolidate orders from the kitchen to ensure they are complete and accurate.
- Monitor the timing of orders to ensure prompt delivery to guests.

**Quality Control**:

- Inspect each order to ensure it meets the restaurant's quality standards in terms of presentation, temperature, and portion size.
- Communicate with the kitchen staff to resolve any issues with orders, such as incorrect or missing items.

**Communication**:

- Act as a liaison between the kitchen and the front of house team, relaying any special instructions or modifications.
- Keep servers and cashiers informed about the status of their orders and any delays or issues that arise.

**Organization**:

- Maintain an organized and clean expediting station.
- Prioritize and manage multiple orders simultaneously, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the kitchen staff and front of house to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Assist with other tasks as needed to support the restaurant’s operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation and presentation standards.

**Skills**:

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
- Stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
