Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including data entry, recording transactions, and maintaining financial records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll records
- Generate financial reports and assist with financial analysis
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Assist with tax preparation and filing

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero or Sage
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting and financial concepts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.

Currently operating QB desktop. Would like to transition to QB online.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $28.57 - $34.41 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
