We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facility Manager to oversee the operations of our USDA Food Processing Facility. Our facility plays a vital role in ensuring the safe processing and distribution of high-quality food products. As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the facility's operations and ensuring compliance with USDA regulations. Willing to Sponsor canidadtes from Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the USDA Food Processing Facility, including production, quality control, sanitation, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all USDA regulations, guidelines, and standards pertaining to food processing, safety, and labeling.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to optimize efficiency and maintain product quality.
- Manage a team of skilled employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and product quality to meet customer demands and maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as procurement, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely product delivery.
- Implement and maintain food safety programs, including HACCP, SOPs, and GMPs, to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the facility.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience in managing a USDA-regulated food processing facility, preferably with experience in [specific food industry].
- In-depth knowledge of USDA regulations and guidelines pertaining to food processing, safety, labeling, and sanitation.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of employees.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety programs such as HACCP, SOPs, and GMPs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and food industry-related software.

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
