**Responsibilities**:

- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures, such as blood draws and urinalysis
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take and develop X-rays of animals
- Clean and maintain equipment and exam rooms
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a veterinary technician program or relevant experience
- Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in pet grooming or dog training

**Experience**:

- Veterinary experience: 1 year (preferred)
