C-Neta Behavioral Health Services is seeking paraprofessionals to work as behavior technicians, implementing behavior support plans for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The BT will provide in-home ABA services to youth under the age of 21.
We are also looking for paraprofessionals who can provide respite services for youth with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
BTs and respite workers are needed to work in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Passaic and Union Counties.
Transportation required.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Must have at least one (1) year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Able to follow directions, procedures, and all ethical guidelines
- Good analytical/critical thinking skills with the ability to record and track therapy progress **Ability to communicate and represent self in a professional manner**:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Must be reliable and flexible, with a strong work ethic
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement interventions in Behavior Support Plan
- Teach skills to the youth
- Train parent/guardian in implementation of Behavior Support Plan
- Data collection
- Progress Notes
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
