Material Handler

Autocam Medical is a global contract manufacturer of orthopedic implants, spinal implants, precision instruments and orthopedic cutting tools. We offer a value-added approach to high-precision manufacturing, with specialties in CNC milling, turning and cutter grinding.

We are seeking a Material Handler with a passion to make a meaningful contribution to the medical device industry. The Material Handler is a full-time position moving materials throughout the Autocam facility to support production. The Material Handler also supports the wash and packaging process.

**Responsibilities**
- Drive material back and forth from both plants within 5 miles.
- Must be 25+ years of age per our insurance requirement.
- Ensures material inventory levels are sufficient to meet production schedules.
- Collects and analyzes data on current order, production levels and sales forecasts to estimate future demand for materials.
- The ability to read shipping documents, or equivalent.
- Load and unload trucks and move material within the production facility.
- Pull orders together.
- Gather or distribute product or materials within the production area.
- Use pallet jacks and may occasionally use a riding forklift.
- Use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product.
- The ability to work alone and in a team setting.
- The ability to multi-task.

**Qualifications**
- High School or GED equivalent.
- Must be 25+ years of age per our insurance requirement.
- Excellent with math and counting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Prior knowledge/experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
- Read shipping documents, or equivalent.
- Knowledge and use of pallet jacks.
- Knowledge and use of sit-down forklift.
- Familiarity with job travelers.
