**Position Details**:
We are seeking a Curriculum Coordinator for our Lindenhurst Site who is passionate and self-motivated to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Curriculum and Resource Management
- Assist in the implementation of the Creative Curriculum and FUNdations, including adaptations for diverse learning needs and profiles.
- Collect and review weekly lesson plans and newsletters from each classroom and serve as the facilitator of My Teaching Strategies GOLD.
- Coordinate the implementation of Units of Study, including organizing monthly material distribution, co-planning, brainstorming, and maintaining material inventory.
- Provide support for gym/gross motor development activities and special events as requested by building administration.
- Maintain the Resource Center in a highly organized and user-friendly condition for easy access by the school community.
- Submit suggestions for classroom materials and inventory classrooms for necessary furniture and materials.

Administrative and Operational Duties
- Manage student and teacher accounts on SeeSaw, including the distribution of Home Learning Codes to support home-school communication.
- Oversee the ordering and distribution of art supplies, manage the Art Closet, and handle associated paperwork for deliveries.
- Prepare and monitor the availability of musical instruments on the music cart in the Library.
- Supervise substitute teachers after school in maintaining the Library space and engage them in curriculum-related special projects, as needed (e.g., creating visual supports for classrooms).

Community and School-Wide Engagement
- Coordinate and promote participation in school-wide events and activities.
- Engage community resources and the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) for school-wide events and curriculum initiatives.
- Support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging within the curriculum and school community by providing inclusive materials, lessons, and professional development opportunities.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with the school community regarding curriculum updates, events, and activities.

**Qualifications**:

- NYS Certification
- Knowledge of and experience with the Creative Curriculum, FUNdations, and Developmentally Appropriate Practice

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
