Part-time Warehouse/sales Associate

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse/Sales Associate is to provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. Warehouse/Sales Associate may be required to perform a variety of duties depending on business needs. It is important to be flexible and willing to work in a team environment.

**Responsibilities**:
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

- Greet customers and promptly assess their wants and needs
- Work with salesman and nutritionist to learn about the animal feeding industry
- Advise customers on purchase options
- Accurately complete sales using POS system according to established procedures
- Work closely with store/gin manager to maintain product stock in the store and warehouse
- Keep store/warehouse clean and tidy
- Assist customers by loading and unloading products as needed
- Safely operate a forklift
- Exhibit an ability to get along with others
- Practice punctual and reliable attendance
- Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
The position requirements include, but are not limited to:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Listen to the needs of the customer and communicate clearly
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface, bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Perform cleaning and light maintenance
- General knowledge of the agricultural industry is preferred but not required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
