University Advancement Summer Assistant

**Summary**:
This position is responsible for assisting staff in the University Advancement office.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Provide general administrative assistance to the advancement team, including filing, mailing, and greeting building guests;
- Assist in coordinating events hosted by the University Advancement office;
- Support the advancement team on various special projects and initiatives;
- Performs related duties as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled at SXU;
- Must have transportation to work in The O’Grady Center located at 11000 S St Louis Ave;
- Must be able to communicate professionally;
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Prior experience in administrative support, customer service, or event planning is a plus.
**Description of Hours**:Hours are flexible, up to 10 a week, M-F 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
**Start Date**:May 6, 2024
