New England Golf and Tennis Camp is looking for enthusiastic, skilled individuals with watersports experience looking to develop their skills in a pristine setting.

As a Watersports Instructor and Counselor, you will be at the forefront of our dynamic camp program. Utilizing our cutting-edge Axis Wakeboat, you'll have the unique opportunity to teach campers the exhilarating skills of wakeboarding and waterskiing. This position is perfect for college students looking to combine their passion for watersports with the rewarding experience of mentoring and coaching.

**About Us**

New England Golf and Tennis Camp is a co-ed camp for ages 7 to 17 located on the shores of the crystal-clear Salmon Lake in Belgrade, Maine. Our unique program combines the professional training, instruction and focus of a junior golf camp and tennis specialty camp with the warmth, fun and community of a traditional Maine overnight summer camp. We are so much more than just a specialty camp, with campers having the opportunity to choose from over thirty activities every day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Instruct and guide campers in wakeboarding and waterskiing, alongside other aquatics activities.
- Collaborate with the camp team to ensure a safe and enjoyable watersports program.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating watersports activities and events.
- Act as a positive role model, encouraging sportsmanship and teamwork among campers.
- Outside of activity time, you’ll have the opportunity to supervise and mentor group of 6 to 10 campers alongside 2 to 3 co-counselors.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience with waterskiing, wakeboarding, kneeboard, and/or tubing
- Boating / Boat Driving experience & certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Lifeguard certification is a plus, but training will be provided for those without certification.

Pay: From $1,200.00 per month
