**Position Profile**

The Girls on the Run serving Maricopa & Pinal Counties Program Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality implementation of Girls on the Run programs at elementary schools, middle schools, partner organizations and community sites in Maricopa & Pinal Counties. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Program Outreach and Site Management
- Implement the Girls on the Run strategic program plan and achieve program goals with respect to number of girls served, number of site locations and demographic requirements
- Develop effective marketing strategies that result in increasing the number of participating sites and girls each season
- Work with community leaders, districts, schools and other organizations to maximize the success of Girls on the Run programming
- Support the needs of new and existing sites, conducting site visits to ensure quality program implementation
- Enforce current site policies and procedures, implementing improvements as needed

Coach Management and Training
- Develop effective coach recruitment and retention strategies that result in qualified volunteers that mirror the demographics of our community and girls served
- Recruit and train coaches to ensure program fidelity and quality
- Manage all aspects of coach training, including logistics and facilitation
- Enforce current coaching policies and procedures, implementing improvements as needed
- Support coach volunteers and design appreciation initiatives

Program Management
- Develop and track program budget with Executive Director
- Manage participant financial assistance policies and procedures
- Communicate with sites, coaches and families

Organizational Support
- Play a key role at the end-of-season 5K and Limitless Potential Brunch events
- Attend community events on behalf of the organization to raise awareness of the organization or in support of a community partnership
- Support organizational fundraising and outreach initiatives

- Experience in youth development, public health, education, nonprofit or social work

- Training and facilitation experience

Program lessons typically occur in the afternoon immediately upon school dismissal making availability on afternoons during the spring season critical. Most work takes places Monday - Friday at the Girls on the Run office, but some weekends and evenings for offsite events or meetings are required. These may include but are not limited to: coach trainings, info nights, committee meetings, outreach events, the Girls on the Run 5K and Limitless Potential Brunch.

**Compensation and benefits**:
This is a full-time exempt position offering a salary of $50,000 - $55,000, health insurance, a generous PTO plan, professional development opportunities and a flexible and supportive work environment that embraces the Girls on the Run Core Values.
