The News Editor will work closely with _The Horn News’_ Executive Director to create engaging editorial content daily.

This isn’t a position for someone tied down to the Associated Press Stylebook.

This is for someone who is insatiably curious and is willing to ask the uncomfortable questions to uncover the facts.

You will write and edit a variety of news articles that will be sent to hundreds of thousands of readers daily, proof-read and fact-checking a variety of editorial projects, and will reach out to politicians, celebrities, and news makers to dig-up the untold story.

Position requirements:

- 1-2 years of professional writing and editing experience.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Passion for the craft of storytelling and the news.
- Proactive, curious, innovative, and self-starter should be words that describe you.
- A knowledge and understanding of the best general practices in direct marketing is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in journalism and conservative news is a plus, but not required.
