**Diesel Technician for Auto Transport Fleet**

**Summary**:

- Diesel Technician at Reliable Carriers In-house Shop - Chandler, AZ.
- Compensation based on experience.
- Sign-on bonus: $2500.

**About**:
**The Position**:
**What you'll do**:

- Perform equipment maintenance on tractors and trailers as needed.
- Perform PM (preventative maintenance on equipment on a scheduled basis).
- Consistently look for and identify equipment issues on tractors and trailers that could cause a safety issue or equipment failure, ultimately causing downtime with the unit.
- Focused on time units and getting routine maintenance done within the allotted time frame.
- Maintain tractors and trailers to Reliable Carriers and Federal CSA standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment.

**What you'll need**:

- Prior technical experience in heavy-duty truck/trailer repair or automotive maintenance.
- Knowledge on A/C system, brake system, emission systems, air systems and diagnostics / trouble shooting of diesel engines.
- Basic welding skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must pass an initial background and drug test.
- Must speak fluent English.
- Possess basic hand tools.
- State certification and industry technical certifications are a plus.
