Bsa Specialist

**OVERVIEW**:
Under the direction of BSA Officer, performs all phases of BSA monitoring program for Southwestern National Bank, and Batch screen OFAC & PEP updated list compliance with BSA.
- Identify all high-risk accounts in Bank.
- Maintain a high-risk customer list
- Generate and review daily reports used to identify suspicious transactions
- Review reports and investigate suspicious transactions; document suspicious activity after investigation and report to the BSA Officer for further action.
- Meet with BSA Officer to analyze and determine if a SAR supporting document needs to be prepared.
- Prepare document for SARs as assigned.
- Review High Risk Customer Annual Review List that generated by BAM system.
- Research and investigate suspicious activities from High-Risk Customer Accounts; investigation consists of using Web Search, Horizon, BAM & BAM+, Image Centre, and interaction with account officers, personal bankers, and tellers.
- Document all high-risk customers monitoring and report to the BSA Officer.
- Monitor, review, and maintain Large 3rd Party Check Deposits Log for high risk or high volume MSB accounts
- Monitor, review, and maintain MSB accounts charge back checks log
- Maintain payees ID verification document
- Assist BSA Officer to prepare MSB prospects Analysis Report

- Detail oriented, time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Cooperates with management and peers to accomplish team and Bank goals.
- Must be a team player and ability to resolve problems and conflicts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and/or Power Point
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- A bachelor’s degree in the area of business, Accounting and Finance preferred.
- 1 year of financial services experience preferred

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
