**Job Summary and Qualifications**:
The** Pediatric Trauma Program Manager’s **(TPM) main function is to manage, coordinate, and ensure performance improvement is completed for the pediatric trauma population in collaboration with the Pediatric Trauma Medical Director. The Pediatric TPM ensures adherence and alignment of all designation requirements as stipulated in the state of Georgia, Department of Public Health code for a Pediatric Trauma Center. Other duties include: providing trauma leadership to community and Region IX for all education, prevention, quality initiatives and research projects as it relates to the pediatric population, ensuring active engagement with the Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission, (GTCNC/Trauma Commission) and actively participating on GTCNC established sub-committees, and developing, administering and coordinating a strategic plan for Dwaine & Cynthia Willet Children’s Hospital Pediatric Trauma Program to position the health system as the leader of trauma care in the region and state of Georgia for pediatric injured patients. The Manager is also responsible and accountable for the operational performance of all trauma care initiatives in terms of quality of care delivery as stipulated by the _Resources for Care of the Trauma Patient_, published by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.
**What qualifications you will need**:
- BSN required; Master's Degree highly preferred (MSN, MBA, MHA, MSHA)
- 5+ years of nursing experience in critical care and/or ED required
- 5+ years of experience at in-hospital management or advanced practice nurse, preferably at a Level 1 Trauma Center, required
