Purchasing Specialist

**Wisconsin Built, Inc.,** a leader in the manufacturing of commercial casework has an opportunity for a Purchasing Specialist.

This position will be responsible for supporting purchasing functions to ensure product and customer shipping targets are met.

**Primary Duties for Purchasing Specialist**:
**1. **Entering data for purchase orders into M1

2. Maintain integrity of purchase order confirmed dates and pricing.

3. Enter Part Numbers into M1

4. Work with Accounting on pricing issues

5. Obtaining quotes from vendors

6. Other duties as assigned.
- Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with suppliers and production
- Effective and clear communicator to internal and external customers
- Tactful and respectful in dealing with others
- Able to work independently and multitask
- Resourceful

**Experience Requirements**:

- Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs including: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of MRP Systems
- Prior experience in wood working industry a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Prior Purchasing experience a plus but not required.

**Experience**:

- Computer skills: 2 years (preferred)
