Marine Construction: Welder Fabricator, Deck Hands and CDL Driver

Location: South Haven - Muskegon Marine Construction Company is seeking hardworking reliable individuals who are able to general labor and weld/fabricate.

We are seeking hard working individuals with a good work ethic and good attitude that is eager to learn new skills.

Our company builds and installs stone revetment walls, steel sheet pile walls, docks, boat lifts, piling etc. Our job sites are from South Haven to Muskegon.

This job includes multiple work tasks: physical labor, barge work, rigging, welding, pile driving, use of power tools, crane operation, heavy equipment operation (excavator, skidsteer, telehandler) tug/work boat operation. We are looking for employees that are knowledgeable in either all or parts of the work described, it takes a crew with different skill sets to complete each project. We are willing to train and guide applicants through the work, but you must be comfortable around water and have a very strong work ethic.

Also seeking individuals that obtain a CDL and are willing to drive truck and work on a job site as well.

*Must have valid drivers license and transportation to our jobsites located along the Lakeshore from South Haven - Muskegon. Our yard is located in Saugatuck/Hamilton area and transportation is often provided from our yard location to jobsites.
*This position is physically demanding
*You will be exposed to outdoor elements (rain, sun, etc...)
*Seeking skilled worker proficient with pneumatic tools, and smaller heavy equipment
*Seeking individuals that have skill with welding and torching
*Previous construction experience would be a plus

Must be a hard worker with a good attitude that is eager to learn new skills.

Must be safety conscious.

We are willing to train and guide applicants through the work we will hire anyone 18 years or older.

The ability to follow detailed instructions and obtain the knowledge of what is learned on-site is an important skill for this position.
