**Description**:

- The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one regular, full-time position in the class of Business Services Supervisor at the Regional Child Support Agency.-
**The Position**
- The primary responsibility of this position will be to oversee and process personnel related requests for the Regional Child Support Agency and to provide supervision to technical and clerical level staff. The incumbent will be responsible for knowing the MOUs, and policies and procedures of both Yolo and Sutter county. The position will require continuous communication and partnership with both county Human Resources offices and Auditor Controller departments. Deliver and receive confidential information and documents. Personnel related duties include but are not limited to overseeing the selection process, onboarding process, employee evaluation schedules, and to assist staff and mangers with individual personnel transactions (e.g., Benefits, Leaves options, Workers Compensation, etc.). Travel will be required within the three counties. With the experience needed for this position, a Human Resources background is highly preferred.**How To Apply**Essential Functions**:
Assignments may include, but are not limited to, the duties listed below:

- Plans, directs, and supervises the work of subordinate technical and/or office support personnel performing the day to day operations of the clerical and business related functions of a department or a major division in a County department, including technical accounting, financial and other fiscal activities.
- Assigns, directs, reviews and evaluates staff work and performance; selects staff; initiates appropriate disciplinary action if necessary; prepares work schedules to provide for adequate shift coverage; prepares and approves vacations and leave schedules.
- Prepares or supervises the preparation of a variety of reports requiring the compilation of financial and statistical data; supervises the preparation of departmental accounting studies and reports.
- Serves as a resource for managers and other employees, both internal and external to the department, on departmental policies and procedures, particularly in unusual or questionable situations.
- Performs a wide range of difficult and complex technical administrative duties that may involve fiscal, personnel, purchasing, training, and related activities.
- May assist with the preparation of the departments budget, as well as direct and monitor department expenditures and fiscal control programs; supervise the preparation of accounting studies and reports.
- Prepares or supervises the preparation and maintenance of personnel documents including staff evaluations, payroll and other records; coordinates the purchase and requisition of supplies and equipment; researches cost and availability and recommends vendor selection.
- Coordinates and arranges departmental training activities; tracks and schedules staff participation; develops, recommends and implements clerical/business procedures and manuals; plans and recommends revisions to work systems and procedures; oversees administrative computer operations and the use of other office equipment

**Employment Standards**:
**Minimum Qualifications**

Experience: Either one year as an Administrative Assistant or comparable class in Yolo County, or three years of experience in an advanced journey level technical, clerical or accounting classification in the County; **OR**

Four years of increasingly responsible technical, clerical, or accounting experience (one year of business school or college with major course work in accounting, information technology, data processing or statistics, may be substituted for one year of the required experience for a maximum of two years).

License: Some positions in this classification may require incumbents to possess and maintain a valid California driver's license, Class C or higher, to carry out job related duties.
