Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities:

- Load and unload materials from trucks and delivery vehicles
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move and store materials
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Fabricate or assemble products according to specifications
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including inspecting and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, locations, and movements
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials or products
- Operate elevated platforms to access inventory in high locations

**Skills**:

- Proficient in loading and unloading materials
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Knowledge of order picking processes and systems
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Ability to fabricate or assemble products according to specifications
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Experience operating cherry pickers or other elevated platforms in a warehouse setting

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Payment frequency:

- Paid weekly

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Rome, GA 30161 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Rome, GA 30161: Relocate before starting work (required)
